In Dosdoce Cultural Magazine published a year ago, an interesting study on "Web 2.0 trends in the publishing industry" (download) and that is that publishers also joined the network to promote their books.
Concretamante a part of the study analyzed the amount of Spanish publishers mentioned in social networks:
- Del.ici.ous (web link exchange / favorites) with 76%
- Culturízame.net (social network specializing in the exchange of news and vote in the cultural sector) with 48%
- Flickr (web social exchange pictures) with 42% of mentions
- Reddit with a 26% (social network for the exchange and vote on any type of news).
- Wikipedia: only 10% of publishers have corporate presence.

The extension SeoQuake for Firefox adds a toolbar to your browser Firefox with information from the PR of the page you visit, like the Google Toolbar but with a lot more data.
the interesting thing is to do a search on your site in Google, ie:
site: pqpq.es
You appear every page that Google has indexed with information from the PR, delicious, Alex, age (Wayback Machine), and so on. You can sort by parameters and save the results.
This extension shows many other statistics besides PageRank, and you can configure it to not load or off Firefox too.
