Replace text with images CSS | Using Image replacement techniques
There are various methods to replace text with an image and a number of needs. For example headers for blogs I've been asked several times how to add the logo, but which also has the text of the title of the blog.
Well known as semantic XHTML and accessibility issues must make sense even if the page has not been able to display images or styles, as well search engines can not find pictures but texts.
Living for the two I use the following trick, you apply a style you need to switch:
h3 (text-indent:-9999px)
This sack of the text on the screen and only see the image. We can change:
visibility: hidden;
ó
display: none;
The difference is that the first element continues to be the original and not display.
