Shai Avida, co-creator of the intelligent image scaling (Content-Aware Scaling) who joined Adobe in the past year, together with Prof. Bill Freeman have presented a new technology "Infinite Images."
This technology collects information from many photography to simulate a virtual environment, a 3D environment, like Google Street View the result is not perfect, but we'll see where they can get these geniuses.
This video shows an example of a panoramic 3D achieved through millions of photographs from Flickr.

Make3D is a free Web application that converts an image into three-dimensional. Do not expect much from the result, please note that the pixels of an image are finite and the image will not have the same quality once processed.
