I just put the widget Google Friend Connect sites in pqpq.es and justtellmewhy.com

Google Friend Connect has just left to deal with Facebook connect, the key difference is that Facebook Connect is limited to the use of the network Facebook.

Utilities are with the social tools that add to your site without having to program a system of records and facilitating communication between users.

Given the philosophy of pqpq.es, a site where the protagonist is the user I thought I should give you this tool and go to work as as giving more responsibilities.

Installation

Installation is easy, with your Google account accessing the service from Google Friend Connect, get two files to your site and then put the widget where you want. At present only in English.

Demo

If you want to see the demo and join the network pqpq.es (I am alone for now): Go to the sidebar and please click on "Invite your friends," just need to have a Gmail account, Yahoo or OpenID.

Google Friend Connect vs. Facebook Connect

As you have already guessed my choice has been Google, the reason is that as I said before is not limited to a social network. There are also arguments against the two, such as that these widgets will leave in the hands of big socialization. Struggles domain, in fact Myspace use the Google technology, while Discovery Channel, Digg and Hulu will use the Facebook.

Let's talk about two utilities to subscribe to RSS via email and / or to spread your RSS through a widget.

First you talk about RSSFWD - RSS, what it does is make it easier subscribing to any feed via email, you can also choose between:

• Normal: 1 email per update.
• Clustered: 1 email per day (only for Gmail accounts)
• or Digest: 1 email per day but specifying the time of day.

Secondly a site, WidgetEasy create widgets where our RSS feed very easy, put the URL and generate the code for the widget with a preview, it would be a bit redundant to use it in the same blog but very useful if you have several or if have accounts at various sites. An example of the feed pqpq.es
